Two things struck me at once today. A craving for something insanely sweet and realizing that I, I mean we, didn't receive any toffee this year at Christmas. So after a delicious and healthy dinner of leftover lentil, bean, wheatberry and quinoa with vegetable soup, I started in on what couldn't be put off any longer.
You can always count on Mom.
With ingredients like this, you know it's going to be good!
Decided to add pecans. This is toffee for pete's sake.
Oh, my gosh. There's nothing better. It was perfect in every way. I stashed it in the freezer as I am attempting to make this last as long as possible. This stuff is sooooooooo sweet. Won't need any more treats until at least Valentines Day.
