  4. I feel the same way about motherhood that you do. It's the absolute BEST!!!!

Don't feel like you need to follow the rules on those tags. I never did! (Partly because linking to everyone and then telling them they were linked was time consuming, and partly because I just never even got around to posting them. Eventually I just gave up.)

    You are so stinkin' pretty!

  8. Marie-I agree with what the other posters are saying. Especially the comment above. I'm glad this made you feel better. I can only imagine these bloggers feeling flattered that you "tagged" them. I am!!! Thanks for tagging me, so nice of you. I'll do this when the kids aren't around-so it may be a a couple of days! Hahahaha. I like the way you pictured yourself covered and then uncovered-very creative as usual and yes/agreed (with the post up higher) you are very beautiful with insecurities and all.

I've really enjoyed your blog, it is really something special in the blog sphere. And I looked at the other blogs you picked, some I follow too, but the others are great too. They seem like great choices. Love you,

    Shauna

  9. I'm definitely not bugged! I'm flattered to be tagged, so THANK YOU for taking the bold step and putting yourself out there. And groceries over clothes any day of the week! That one's just so easy to answer :)

  10. Marie, sorry, but where are the eleven random things about yourself? The eleven random things are on top of the eleven questions to answer -correct. I was wondering if you....oh okay, I think I understand, you're eleven random things are in the last tag that you received-yes? Got it. No need to respond to this-:)

This is the usual for this tag. If it's your first time you do it all.

  13. I am in love with your dress. It's beautiful!!! I really hope I can find something like this when I'm in India this summer. What a cool souvenier, right?

And I never get tired of reading these question and answer things. Every time I read them, I'm like 'Oh, I do that, too!' or I find something else I have in common with that person. For example, now I don't feel like the ONLY weirdo on the planet b/c I'd rather shop for groceries than clothes. :o)

    1. I never tire of them either, I am just nosy by nature. And when people validate your crazy ways it doesn't make you feel like such a nutcase.

The dress is from Ebay & it's one of my favorites. I can't wait to see what you bring home from your travels.

  14. Seriously thought you were writing about me for half a second. I can completely agree with grocery shopping over clothes (so many yummy things out there). As for the kids I figure everyone yells and of course you have to do it in your workout clothes because it can cause you to break a sweat.
Food on the floor is less waste so just think of yourself as "green."
Keep up the good work on your blog because I love coming to read about your days out in sunny Cali.

  28. I love these photos too...you are so cute- love your comments about insecurity, which I can't even imagine you actually being in the slightest- because I totally think you put yourself and your beliefs into your blog! 29. I always hate that part too - choosing other bloggers. I know some don't like to "play." I don't want anyone to feel obligated. I don't want anyone to feel left out that I didn't pick them. I over-think things:(

  30. Yay!! I love your answers- especially your celebrity crushes! Michael C. Hall is amazing!
And I'm so jealous that you went to see the Beach Boys in concert.
I need to get my hands on some Pero! I saw it at Whole Foods, and it was pretty pricey (shocker, everything there is) but bet I can find it online for cheap!

    1. Pero is so good. It's almost $5 at Winco which is probably the cheapest I can find, but I'd pay it anyway because it's the only store that sells it here.

Also, I'm completely jealous. I yearn to have a mini-van with electric sliding doors.

  33. Thanks for tagging me! I loved your answers especially about your ideal career, it made me laugh. The items in your fridge have inspired me to add some of those things to mine.
