But not too modern. Emry is 'borrowing' my casual watch (those quotations means it's most likely lost). My nice watch has been needing a battery for about a year now, and since I don't own what most people use to tell time, a cell phone, my adult self had to use this while shopping so I would make it to Ethan's class on time:

This made me laugh out loud..... a kitchen timer! However, you are one step ahead of me in that I usually am just guessing at the time.... I think somehow deep inside I believe being unaware of time loosens it constraints on me....

You are TOO funny, Marie! I have too many clothes. I keep weeding them out, but then I go to a thrift store or rummage sale and buy more! Hey, the timer got you where you needed to be on time. At least you didn't try to strap it to your wrist...THAT would have been funny!
ReplyDeleteHey, guess where I'm headed? Out to the mall to buy a shirt to add to my 3 t-shirt rotation as well. Troy said if he sees me wear my red bazooka bubble gum t-shirt again, he'll burn it! I also do the "wear the same outfit two days in a row" thing. Well, you know, we are COOL at school, we are cool at dances, we are cool when we wear the same outfit a few days in a row :)Love you Marie!
ReplyDeleteMarshalls is great! I love TJ Maxx actually, more for their housewares than anything. I can be lazy about looking throught their vast clothing racks but I know they have some amazing deals.

Marie you totally crack me up. You would shake your head and die if you saw my closet. This morning I had to put a few folded shirts away and I didn't have a spot for them! I keep thinking I need to clean stuff out and stop buying...but I never know what to get rid of in case I want it later. I love your red California bear tee!
ReplyDeleteAhhh... a 3 shirt rotation is not something I'm familiar with. I have to rotate BINS of clothes in and out of my closet (cold weather vs. warm weather) because I don't have enough room!
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen timer cracks me up! I have numerous tech devices, but I don't rely on any of them for the time. I'm a watch girl. I do have a 3 WATCH rotation.... maybe even 4.
