Kylee Marie is 15

I'll take any opportunity to call Kylee (front in the blue sundress) by her full name :).  My sister Jeannette's (center in stripes) firstborn turned 15 yesterday, only 1 more year until she's behind the wheel.  She's a typical teen who loves texting and clothes, her friends and having fun.

"Emry & Ethan, can you not smile for 1 picture?!?"  That's it, I am only taking pictures of Lila from now on.

Jeannette worked for days prepping Thai food for Kylee's birthday dinner.  It was heavenly.  My sister served a mission for our church in Thailand for 18 months when she was 23.  So as well as teaching and helping the people there, and having to learn one of the hardest languages, she picked up on all sorts of tasty tips to prepare authentic Thai food.

Satay Chicken, one of my kids favorites!  I took a few other pictures of the food but deleted them as darkness, shredded veggies and an amateur photographer make for a bad combination.

My sister Jeannette & my namesake (close enough :) )  Happy Birthday Kylee, we all love you so much!!!!

"No, it couldn't be that", "Maybe she's sick?" Ohhhhhhh, you're just busy like a mom of three should be,,,,right! You know my heart skips an extra beat when I see your comments....Love you,

    1. I am glad I finally saw your posts too!!!! I usually don't go on the computer Fri. Sat. or Sun. so I really missed out. Catching up now you busy bee.

Jeannette speaks some but has lost a lot because she has no one to speak it with. She's so dang smart though I am sure it would be easy for her to pick right back up.

  2. Oh Thai food! Yum!! And you're right about that being one of the hardest languages to learn. When we lived in Singapore, some friends of ours moved to Thailand and talked about how much harder it was to learn Thai than Mandarin!

  15. I think you disabled comments on your most recent post, but I really wanted to comment on that. First, I am so so sorry for what you're going through. It amazes me though that you still always make me smile with your sly humor, even through times like this. Second, you are really opening my eyes as to how I have made so many errors in my own life as far as taking care of my body. I absolutely envy the fact that you treat your body so well and exercise and eat great. It's so not fair that you're suffering. My thoughts are with you.
