I have nothing and everything to say. There's a whole lot going on in my head right now. Good things, frustrating things, things I just need to work the heck out. I'll get there, just have to decipher it all before I can put coherent thoughts together. So for now I'll just post all these crazy photos that don't belong anywhere except in a post about nothing.
I am thinking Ethan took this at Walmart. In the 'Intimates' section. Nice. Not sure what Lila is doing, saying or yelling.
Two weeks ago the kids and I awoke before the sun to take my dad to a Dr. appointment. After dropping him off we hit up a very ghetto 7-11 for some breakfast. (from left) Yogurt and granola brought from home in a recycled yogurt island cup for me. Cup o' Noodles for Emry. Hot chocolate for Lila. Naked juice for Emry and Lemonade and the cough drops for Ethan.
Emry has never been one for eating a typical breakfast. She'll eat pasta, avocado, or a tuna sandwich. She's rad.
We had many hours to kill during my dad's Dr. appt. so we spent a few hours at the Fontana Chuck E Cheez.
One of the (many) pics that didn't make the cut for our Christmas card.
Shopping at the mall. Ethan doesn't like shopping, and why yes that it his Halloween costume which is part of his regular outfit rotation now.
This was taken after Ethan wanted to take a picture of us in a photo booth. I said "What?!?!" Why spend $3.50 on photos when I can take them with my sweet iphone for free. Well besides whatever monthly fee Glenn pays. So no, I guess not at all free.
Picnic at the park. They're playing hot potato with a ball that shocks you. Fun. Notice there are no adults in this picture.
Ethan Glenn, Glenn, & Lila Glenn. It's just fun saying Glenn so many times :)
They are reading up on the addition to our family, Elf on the Shelf. We have a million gazillion books in the house but I swear if one kid is reading a book the other two always want to read it too. It's annoying and endearing at the same time.
Awwwwwww, I am such a proud momma. Not proud enough to be at the actual award ceremony (forgot) but proud enough to break out the iphone camera when I worked in his classroom later on that day.
Emry doing a science experiment from a kit she got for her birthday. The other day Ethan got a nosebleed and Emry started talking about red blood cells & coagulation and I kind of zoned out at all the big words she was using. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Emry grows up and cures cancer.
Lila and her Grandma Wallwork. We've finally finished off the last of the 300 pounds of oranges we brought home from Fresno. I actually had to BUY oranges at Costco the other day. How annoying.
I texted this pic to my best friend Shauna to say "hey look I am wearing the dress you got me for my birthday years ago, thanks, I still love it". She finally got the pic a week later. We're like dumb & dumber when it comes to our cell phones. Once I finally figured out her correct cell phone # we actually managed to have a nice text conversation. I am sure we'll do it again in another couple of months. Love you Shauna.
I love posts that are filled with randomness, such fun. The picture of you and Ethan is so cute. I don't think I would want to play that version of hot potato.
ReplyDeleteEmry knows about red blood cells and coagulation- I'm impressed! I had no clue what a red blood cell was until I was like 15... Haha!
ReplyDeleteThese are such cute pictures :) and free froyo- I'm so jelly!
Love your outfit and your kids are so cute! Hope your dad is doing ok.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you hit that nail on the head for sure!! Dumb and Dumber!!!! That is exactly us! Is it weird that it makes me proud. What's wrong with me? :) This is a cute post. We have science experiments coming out of our ears here. I am going to send Emry some. Free yogurt, doesn't get any better. Love all of the pictures, especially of you and Glenn, why didn't that one make the cut with your tongue out and all???? It's perfect....hahahahahahaha. And of course the dress looks awesome on you. Love you so muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch!!!
ReplyDeleteShauna xoxoxoxoxoxxooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxoooo
My yogurt would have looked a lot like yours only mine would have had some chocolate in it!
ReplyDeleteThe flavor I got is Taro, it's a root vegetable kind of like a yam. Not many people like it but it's my favorite!
DeleteOh my goodness, you are so cute! And beautiful! I love the picture of you and hubs. And I surely do hope Emry finds a cure for cancer someday :)
ReplyDeleteLove that pic of you and Glen in the library. Y'all look like you have a solid relationship. Love that.
ReplyDeleteYour yogurt photos are making me think that Clara and I "need" to stop at Swirl (our local yogurt shop) for some fro yo later today!
Love all the pictures you share - your kids will love this blog when they get older! :D
ReplyDeleteLove all the pictures--you have a lovely family Marie :)

your kids are always learning and having fun, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI just love Lila's face (it reminds me of me as a kid). Looks like a lot of fun was had =)
ReplyDeleteOH my, that really was good karma with the ice cream! Love that Emry has a bit of a science bug!
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos. Wish my kids could go picking oranges, but unfortunately we don't have four seasons here.
ReplyDeleteI love the randomness...it piles everything together that would not be a post on its own.
ReplyDeleteI hope things are going ok and that find some peace of mind.
The dress is awesome and I particularly love those boots.
I love how much happiness comes out in these photos!
ReplyDeleteLove the dress. And the iphone pics.
ReplyDeleteI hope Emry does grow up and cure cancer.
Cup O Noodles...I love it. I used to eat totally random things for breakfast when I was a kid too. Top Ramen, chocolate ice cream, cookies, pizza. I really had the most amazing metabolism!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, especially the last one. :)
You're just a funny, funny, funny girl.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm judging you for your choice in frozen yogurt toppings.
